CVE-2021-0314

CVSS v3.1

7.3

High

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Android versions Android-8.1 through Android-11
Description: In the onCreate of UninstallerActivity, there is a possible way to uninstall all without informed user consent due to a tapjacking/overlay attack. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with User execution privileges needed. User interaction is needed for exploitation.
Recommendations: For Android versions Android-8.1 through Android-11, consider restricting access to the UninstallerActivity to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the UninstallerActivity until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
