Description:
The issue is related to a missing bounds check in the
rw mfc handle read op function of rw mfc.cc, which could lead to a possible out of bounds write. This could result in remote code execution via a malicious NFC packet with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.Recommendations:
For Android versions Android-10 through Android-11, update to a version that includes the April security updates, as the vulnerability was patched in these updates.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability, but applying the April security updates should resolve the issue.
