Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: IBus (affected versions not specified)
Description: The issue concerns the Intelligent Input Bus (IBus), an input method framework for multilingual input in Unix-like operating systems. A problem was identified where the IBus emoji candidate pop-up, used with IBus UI in the GNOME Wayland desktop, failed to insert the selected candidate into the target input focus correctly. This has been addressed by updating the IBus emoji candidate pop-up to work with GNOME-Shell UI, allowing for correct insertion of the selected candidate into the input focus.
Recommendations: At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
