Description:
The issue is caused by improper bounds checking, leading to a stack-based buffer overflow. A remote authenticated attacker could exploit this to cause the server to crash.
Recommendations:
For versions 6.0 and 7.0, update to a version that includes the fix for the improper bounds checking issue to prevent the stack-based buffer overflow.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
