Description
The issue is related to the USB gadget subsystem of the Linux kernel, which provides a software interface for creating client USB devices and simulating USB devices. It involves an out of bounds write due to an incorrect flag check, potentially leading to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not required for exploitation. The vulnerability could allow an attacker to access confidential data, compromise data integrity, and cause a denial of service. It may also lead to information leakage from the kernel, crash, or execution of arbitrary code at the kernel level.
