CVE-2021-24675

CVSS v3.1

6.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions The One User Avatar WordPress plugin versions prior to 2.3.7
Description The issue concerns a lack of CSRF check when updating the avatar in a page where the [avatar upload] shortcode is embedded. This allows attackers to make logged-in users change their avatar via a CSRF attack.
Recommendations For versions prior to 2.3.7, update to version 2.3.7 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to pages with the [avatar upload] shortcode to minimize the risk of exploitation.
