CVE-2021-24676

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Better Find and Replace WordPress plugin versions prior to 1.2.9
Description The issue is related to a Reflected Cross-Site Scripting problem. It occurs because the s GET parameter is not properly escaped before being outputted back in the All Masking Rules page. This allows for potential malicious script injection.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.2.9, update to version 1.2.9 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the All Masking Rules page until the update is applied. Avoid using the s parameter in the affected page until the issue is resolved.
