| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/Au:S/C:P/I:P/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Cisco Small Business RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W Routers (affected versions not specified)
Description:
The issue is related to insufficient input validation by the web-based management interface, which could allow an authenticated, remote attacker to conduct cross-site scripting (XSS) attacks against a user of the interface. An attacker could exploit this by sending crafted HTTP requests to an affected device, potentially executing arbitrary script code in the context of the affected interface or accessing sensitive, browser-based information. The attacker would need valid administrator credentials on the affected device to exploit this issue.
Recommendations:
For Cisco Small Business RV110W, RV130, RV130W, and RV215W Routers, consider disabling access to the web-based management interface until a patch is available.
Restrict access to the management interface to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
