Description
The issue is related to improper validation of user-supplied input in the web-based management interface, allowing an authenticated, remote attacker to inject arbitrary commands that are executed with root privileges. An attacker could exploit this by sending crafted HTTP requests to a targeted device, potentially executing arbitrary code as the root user on the underlying operating system. The attacker would need valid administrator credentials on an affected device to exploit the issue.
