CVE-2021-2097

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle iSupport versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle iSupport versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Profile component of Oracle iSupport, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle iSupport. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle iSupport accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle iSupport accessible data.
Recommendations For Oracle iSupport versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For Oracle iSupport versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Profile component until a patch is available.
