Description The issue is related to the Message Display component of the Oracle Email Center product. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Email Center. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Email Center accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Email Center accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available. Restrict access to the Oracle Email Center product via HTTP to minimize the risk of exploitation.
