Description A race condition within a thread vulnerability in iscsi snapshot comm core allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code via crafted web requests. This issue affects Synology DiskStation Manager and can be exploited by sending specially crafted requests to the affected system.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.2.3-25426-3, update to version 6.2.3-25426-3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the iscsi snapshot comm core component until a patch is applied.
