CVE-2021-2015

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description: The issue is related to the Oracle Workflow product, specifically the Worklist component, and is caused by inadequate access control. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Workflow, potentially resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Workflow accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Workflow accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations: For Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, consider restricting access to the Worklist component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol for accessing Oracle Workflow to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
