Description: This issue allows local attackers to disclose sensitive information on affected installations. An attacker must first obtain the ability to execute high-privileged code on the target guest system. The flaw exists within the Toolgate component due to the lack of proper validation of user-supplied data, resulting in a read past the end of an allocated buffer. This can be leveraged in conjunction with other issues to escalate privileges and execute arbitrary code in the context of the hypervisor.
