Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Outcome-Result component of Oracle Customer Interaction History. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Customer Interaction History. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Customer Interaction History accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Customer Interaction History accessible data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Outcome-Result component until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive data and implement additional security measures to minimize the risk of exploitation.
