| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul versions 11.5.10, 12.1, 12.2
Description
The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Dialog Box component of the Oracle Complex Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul product. This allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction and may significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 11.5.10, 12.1, and 12.2, consider restricting access to the Dialog Box component until a patch is available.
As a temporary workaround, limit the use of the HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation.
Restrict access to sensitive data and ensure that all users with access to the system are authorized and monitored.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
