Description The issue is related to the CRM User Management Framework component of Oracle Common Applications, which has inadequate access controls. This allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Common Applications. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Common Applications accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Common Applications accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the CRM User Management Framework component until a patch is available.
