CVE-2021-2092

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Preferences component of Oracle CRM Technical Foundation, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction and may significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data.
Recommendations For versions 12.1.3 and 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, consider restricting access to the Preferences component until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, limit the use of HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
