Description The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Message Display component of Oracle Email Center, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. This can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all Oracle Email Center accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Email Center accessible data.

Recommendations For Oracle Email Center versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For Oracle Email Center versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available.
