Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Centreon version 20.10.2
Description
The issue is related to a cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerability. Specifically, the
dep description and dep name parameters are vulnerable to stored XSS. This can be exploited when a user logs in and navigates to the Configuration > Notifications > Hosts page.Recommendations
For Centreon version 20.10.2, as a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Configuration > Notifications > Hosts page until a patch is available. Avoid using the
dep description and dep name parameters in this context to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.XSS
