Description: The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Shopping Cart component of Oracle iStore. This allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle iStore. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products. The attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle iStore accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle iStore accessible data.

Recommendations: For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Shopping Cart component until a patch is available. Avoid using the HTTP protocol to access Oracle iStore until the issue is resolved.
