Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle Outside In Technology versions 8.5.4 through 8.5.5
Description: The issue is related to insufficient access controls in the Outside In Filters component of Oracle Outside In Technology, allowing an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of data and the ability to cause a partial denial of service. Outside In Technology is a suite of software development kits (SDKs), and the protocol and impact depend on the software using the Outside In Technology code.
Recommendations: For versions 8.5.4 and 8.5.5, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
