CVE-2021-2115

CVSS v3.1

7.6

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle Common Applications Calendar versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle Common Applications Calendar versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description: The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Tasks component of Oracle Common Applications Calendar, allowing a remote attacker to modify, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require human interaction and can result in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data.
Recommendations: For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Tasks component to minimize the risk of exploitation.
