CVE-2021-2107

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle Customer Interaction History versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle Customer Interaction History versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description: The issue is related to insufficient access control in the Outcome-Result component of Oracle Customer Interaction History. It allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information or to read, add, or delete data using the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products, resulting in unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.
Recommendations: For Oracle Customer Interaction History versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Oracle Customer Interaction History versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Outcome-Result component until a patch is available. Restrict access to the HTTP protocol to minimize the risk of exploitation.
