CVSS v3.1

5.4

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Sourcecodester Equipment Inventory System version 1.0
Description: The issue allows remote attackers to inject arbitrary javascript via any "Add" sections, such as Add Item, Employee, and Position, or others in the Name Parameters. This is a result of multiple stored cross-site scripting (XSS) vulnerabilities.
Recommendations: For Sourcecodester Equipment Inventory System version 1.0, consider restricting access to the "Add" sections, such as Add Item, Employee, and Position, until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the Name Parameters in these sections to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
