CVSS v3.1

5.1

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions IBM Db2 for Linux, UNIX and Windows (includes Db2 Connect Server) versions 11.1 and 11.5
Description The issue could allow a local user to keep running a procedure that could cause the system to run out of memory and cause a denial of service under very specific conditions.
Recommendations For versions 11.1 and 11.5, consider restricting access to procedures that could cause excessive memory usage until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, consider implementing memory usage limits to prevent the system from running out of memory. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
