CVE-2021-30470

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions PoDoFo version 0.9.7
Description A flaw was found in the software, where an uncontrolled recursive call among PdfTokenizer::ReadArray(), PdfTokenizer::GetNextVariant(), and PdfTokenizer::ReadDataType() functions can lead to a stack overflow.
Recommendations For PoDoFo version 0.9.7, consider restricting the use of the PdfTokenizer functions to minimize the risk of exploitation until a patch is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the ReadArray(), GetNextVariant(), and ReadDataType() functions in the PdfTokenizer class. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.
