Description An issue was discovered in the implementation of the can forge sender permission, previously known as is api super user, which resulted in users with this permission being able to send messages appearing as if sent by a system bot, including to other organizations hosted by the same Zulip installation.

Recommendations For versions prior to 3.4, update to version 3.4 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the can forge sender permission to minimize the risk of exploitation.
