Description:
A vulnerability in the user profile update component found in the ~/src/Classes/EditUserProfile.php file made it possible for users to escalate their privileges to that of an administrator while editing their profile.
Recommendations:
For versions 3.0.0 through 3.1.3, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent privilege escalation.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the EditUserProfile.php file until a patch is available.
