Description:
A Buffer Overflow issue exists, where a specially crafted network packet sent from an attacker can crash memcached.
Recommendations:
For Couchbase Server versions 6.5.x, consider updating to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
For Couchbase Server versions 6.6.0 through 6.6.2, consider updating to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
For Couchbase Server version 7.0.0, consider updating to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to memcached to minimize the risk of exploitation.
