Description The issue is related to a Buffer Overflow vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted javascript file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Photoshop versions 21.2.4 and earlier, update to a version later than 21.2.4 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Photoshop versions 22.1.1 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.1.1 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of javascript files in Adobe Photoshop until a patch is available.
