Description: The issue is related to a Use After Free vulnerability in Adobe Acrobat and Reader, which could allow an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This vulnerability enables a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations: For Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.013.20074 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.013.20074 to resolve the issue. For Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.001.30018 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.001.30018 to resolve the issue. For Acrobat Reader DC versions 2017.011.30188 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30188 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of the getAnnots method in the Annotation functionality until a patch is available.
