CVE-2021-38336

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Edit Comments XT WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.0
Description: The issue allows attackers to inject arbitrary web scripts due to a reflected $ SERVER["PHP SELF"] value in the ~/edit-comments-xt.php file. This enables Reflected Cross-Site Scripting attacks.
Recommendations: For versions up to and including 1.0, update to a version that fixes the reflected $ SERVER["PHP SELF"] value issue in the ~/edit-comments-xt.php file to prevent arbitrary web script injection. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ~/edit-comments-xt.php file until a patch is available.
