Description
The issue allows users to embed arbitrary JavaScript code in the Web UI, altering the intended functionality and potentially leading to credentials disclosure within a trusted session. This is due to a cross-site scripting vulnerability.
Recommendations
For IBM QRadar Advisor versions 2.5 through 2.6.1, consider restricting access to the Web UI until a fix is available. As a temporary workaround, avoid using the Web UI for sensitive operations to minimize the risk of credentials disclosure. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
