CVE-2021-39334

CVSS v3.1

5.5

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Job Board Vanila WordPress plugin versions up to and including 1.0
Description: The issue arises from insufficient input validation and sanitization via the psjb exp in and the psjb curr in parameters found in the ~/job-settings.php file. This allows attackers with administrative user access to inject arbitrary web scripts. The vulnerability affects multi-site installations where unfiltered html is disabled for administrators, and sites where unfiltered html is disabled.
Recommendations: For versions up to and including 1.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the psjb exp in and psjb curr in parameters in the ~/job-settings.php file until a patch is available. Restrict access to the ~/job-settings.php file to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the psjb exp in and psjb curr in parameters in the affected plugin until the issue is resolved. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
