| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Leaky Paywall WordPress plugin versions up to and including 4.16.5
Description:
The issue is related to Stored Cross-Site Scripting due to insufficient input validation and sanitization via the ~/class.php file. This allows attackers with administrative user access to inject arbitrary web scripts. The problem affects multi-site installations where unfiltered html is disabled for administrators, and sites where unfiltered html is disabled.
Recommendations:
For versions up to and including 4.16.5, update to a version later than 4.16.5 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting administrative access and enabling unfiltered html for administrators to minimize the risk of exploitation.
