| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Miniftpd version 1.0
Description:
A Buffer Overflow issue exists in the do mkd function in the ftpproto.c file, which could let a remote malicious user cause a Denial of Service. The
do mkd function is vulnerable, potentially allowing exploitation through the ftpproto.c file.Recommendations:
For Miniftpd version 1.0, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
do mkd function until a patch is available. Restrict access to the ftpproto.c file to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this issue.Exploit
