Description: The issue is an out-of-bounds read vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, in that a victim must open a malicious file.

Recommendations: For Adobe Framemaker versions 2019 Update 8 and earlier, update to a version later than Update 8. For Adobe Framemaker versions 2020 Release Update 2 and earlier, update to a version later than Release Update 2. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the opening of files from untrusted sources to minimize the risk of exploitation.
