Description A Use After Free vulnerability affects Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This issue can be leveraged to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.013.20074 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.013.20074. For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.001.30018 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.001.30018. For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2017.011.30188 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30188. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to open files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
