Description
A buffer overflow issue exists in the client code of the affected devices when processing a malformed IE length of HT capability information in the Beacon and Association response frame. This occurs due to improper handling of the HT capability information in the Beacon and Association response frames.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 2.0.10, update to version 2.0.10 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the client code that processes HT capability information until a patch is available.
