Description:
A vulnerability has been identified in the JTTK library, which is used in JT Utilities and JTTK products. The vulnerability occurs when parsing specially crafted JT files, allowing an out of bounds write past the end of an allocated structure. This could enable an attacker to execute code in the context of the current process.
Recommendations:
For JT Utilities versions prior to 13.1.1.0, update to version 13.1.1.0 or later to resolve the issue.
For JTTK versions prior to 11.1.1.0, update to version 11.1.1.0 or later to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the JTTK library to minimize the risk of exploitation.
