Description:
The issue is a heap-based buffer overflow in the
MqttClient DecodePacket function, which is called from MqttClient HandlePacket and MqttClient WaitType.Recommendations:
For wolfSSL wolfMQTT version 1.9, consider disabling the
MqttClient DecodePacket function as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to the MqttClient HandlePacket and MqttClient WaitType functions to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.Exploit
