Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions:
Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.10.40
Description:
A memory leak issue exists in the nvme loop create ctrl() function. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations:
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.10.40, update to version v5.10.40 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the nvme-loop module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
