Description:
The issue is related to a null dereference in the parse device address function in the ieee802154 module. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations:
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.10.45, update to version v5.10.45 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the ieee802154 module to minimize the risk of exploitation.
