Description:
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the
strlen function, which can cause a mount failure in ocfs2. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations:
For versions prior to v4.9.288, update to Linux Kernel version v4.9.288 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
