Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.14.15
Description: The issue is related to the debug dma map sg() function in the dma-debug module. It was introduced in version v2.6.31 and fixed in version v5.14.15. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations: For Linux Kernel versions prior to v5.14.15, update to version v5.14.15 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of the debug dma map sg() function until a patch is available.
