Description:
The issue is related to a use-after-free (UAF) bug in the
peak pci remove() function. This problem was introduced in version 3.4 and fixed in version 5.15. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations:
For Linux Kernel versions 3.4 through 5.14, update to version 5.15 or later to resolve the issue.
