Description:
The issue is related to a use after free in the
ems pcmcia add card() function. This problem was introduced in version v3.2 and is fixed in Linux Kernel version v4.4.295. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations:
For Linux Kernel versions 3.2 through 4.4.294, update to version v4.4.295 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the
