Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the software of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA) and Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD). It could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service (DoS) condition on an affected device by sending a crafted HTTPS request. The vulnerabilities are due to a lack of proper input validation of the HTTPS request. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to cause the affected device to reload, resulting in a DoS condition. This issue affects only specific AnyConnect and WebVPN configurations.
