CVE-2021-2206

CVSS v3.1

8.2

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:H/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions: Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3 Oracle E-Business Suite versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10
Description: The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Oracle Trade Management product, specifically in the Quotes component. It allows an unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Trade Management, potentially leading to unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data. Successful attacks require human interaction from a person other than the attacker and may significantly impact additional products.
Recommendations: For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Quotes component until a patch is available. Restrict access to sensitive data and implement additional monitoring to detect potential exploitation attempts.
